Catherine (1812-1892) was a daughter of John Campbell and Mary Macdonald, 6 Buanish.
The village was cleared in 1826 and the family were moved to 14 Tong.
In 1835, she married Neil Macdonald of 9 Tong. Catherine and Neil settled at Tong and they had at least three children.
Catherine was widowed in 1846 and returned to her father's croft at 14 Tong. In 1850 her father obtained 3 Tong and she and her children settled there.
