John, born 1774, was the son of John Munro of Ruisgarry. John became a farmer in Ruisgarry, living there with his wife, Margaret MacAskill, and their six children. In 1830 he was a tenant, paying annual rent of £6.13.4. He is assumed to have died around 1850.
