Donald, born about 1839, was the first son of that name born to John Munro and Flora MacKillop of old Ruisgarry. The family lived in old Ruisgarry until about 1849, when they moved to 14 Benside, Stornoway.
Donald married Mary Ann MacLeod from 41 Newmarket. They lived at 31 ½ Newmarket.
