Euphemia Buchanan
Euphemia (1909-2004) was a daughter of Donald Buchanan and Mary Maclean, 9 Mangersta. She married John Shaw, Bernisdale, Isle of Skye and they stayed at 9 Mangersta for a short time before moving to 6 Brenish, where their family of one son and three daughters were born. In 1951 they relocated to Hamnaway before returning and settling at 1 Carnish in 1956.
