Ann (born 1846) was the daughter of John Maciver and Margaret Macdonald. Her parents emigrated from 20 Old North Tolsta to the Eastern Townships of Quebec, in 1841, prior to her birth.

Ann married Hugh Maclean of Quebec; Hugh’s family originated in Carnish.
