109660: Norman Maciver

Norman was the son of Norman Maciver and Margaret Maciver. The address at the time of his birth is not known, except that it was on the Isle of Lewis. 

Normans family were initially cottars at 11 North Tolsta, in a house Norman’s father built, but they moved to Stornoway and lived at several addresses, the last being Manor Park.

In 1952 the family emigrated to Canada, and Norman went to school there.

The family returned to Scotland, initially to Inverness. After a few years there Norman’s parents returned to the Isle of Lewis and built a new house at 3 Knock, Point. It is not clear if Norman was with them at either of these locations, but he may have been.

Norman married in England.
