Catherine (1824-1905) was a daughter of Donald Nicolson and Ann Mackenzie, 10 Old Eishken. The family moved from Eishken in the 1820s and settled at 5 Old Gravir.
In Lochs, in 1845, she married John Montgomery from 18 Old Leurbost. Catherine and John settled at 8 Leurbost and they had seven children.
Catherine was widowed in 1853.
