111506: Donald Macdonald

Donald (c1889-1918) was a son of Donald Macdonald and Margaret Maciver, 20 Crowlista. He served in the Royal Naval Reserve (RNR) during the First World War and a record for him can be found in the Roll of Honour 1914-1918. Donald was lost on 17 January 1918, when the SS Windsor Hall was torpedoed during a naval support operation in the Mediterranean. He was aged 28 years.
