Sophia Mackenzie (born 1842) was a daughter of Murdo Mackenzie and Marion Macritchie, 11 Old Lower Barvas.
The family emigrated to Canada and settled in Quebec.
Sophia married John Finlayson, Quebec, ex 30 Lemreway and they settled in Marston, Quebec. Sophia and John adopted a son, Donald.
In 1901 the family were living in Bruce County, Ontario.
