111750: Christina Ann Mackay

Christina Ann (born 1888) was the daughter of Murdo Mackay and Marya Iserhoff; she was born in Lewis. Her parents met and married in Hudson Bay, Canada but moved to her paternal grandparents’ croft, at 50 North Tolsta, and settled in the cottars house there at some point.

Christina Ann’s mother died in Glasgow in 1918 and sometime later her father married Catherine Macleod and settled in Stornoway.

Christina Ann married Walter Bradbrook, of Stornoway, in Stornoway and the couple settled in Glasgow.
