Ann, born 1825, was the daughter of Neil MacAskill and Chirsty MacDonald of Ruisgarry, who moved to Borve by 1841. Ann’s mother died about 1845 and the family moved instead to 11 Kyles Scalpay.
Ann’s daughter Chirsty was born in 1857.
