113195: Mary Morrison

Mary, born 1830, was the daughter of Roderick Morrison and Mary Morrison of Borve. With the clearance of Borve crofts to make way for Borve Farm in 1854, the family were moved to Scotasay.

Mary married John MacAskill of 11 Kyles Scalpay, but also originally from Berneray. Together they were to have seven children, living at first in Kyles Scalpay before emigrating to Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan about 1885.
