113225: John MacLeod
John, born 1835, was the son of Norman MacLeod and Chirsty MacKillop of Ruisgarry. During the 1840s, with the re-organisation of Ruisgarry’s many small plots into larger ones, the family was moved to 5c Deiraclete, Harris. In 1861, by now a fisherman, John was still living in Deiraclete with his widowed mother.
