Donald MacCusbic and his wife, whose name is unknown, had at least four children. Donald died sometime before 1818, when his widow is shown on the tenancy rolls for Borve as ‘widow MacCuspay and Son’ paying annual rent of £5.10s. It is believed that she emigrated to Cape Breton during the 1820s.
