Malcolm, born 1825, was the son of Angus MacCusbic and Christina MacLeod of Berneray. The family emigrated to Grand River, Cape Breton during the late 1820s. Malcolm married Margaret MacAskill of Cape Breton. He passed away at L’Ardoise in 1913.
