113396: Margaret Ferguson
Margaret, born 1834, was the daughter of Donald Ferguson and Una MacDonald of Ruisgarry. About 1845, with the re-organisation of Ruisgarry’s crofts into larger plots, the family emigrated to Grand River, Cape Breton.
In 1858 Margaret married Donald MacKinnon, who had emigrated from Lochmaddy, North Uist. They made their home in Framboise with their seven children. Margaret passed away there in 1910.
