113745: Nora Macmillan

Nora (1925-2016) was the daughter of Alexander Macmillan and Christina Macdonald, 18 Laxay.  In 1936 the family moved to 4 Keose Glebe.

After Nora’s father died in 1938, her mother moved the family to 3 Parkview Terrace, Balallan in 1951.  Having already moved to Glasgow, Nora was residing at 21 Dalmally Street when in 1971, she married Finlay Mackay of 4 Garynahine.  They both settled at 166 Kilmun Street. After Finlay’s death Nora subsequently moved to 436 Maryhill Road where she was living until her death.
