William John Murray (1928-2017) was the son of George Murray and Annie Macleod of 45 North Tolsta.
William John worked as a Post Office linesman.
He married Catherine Maciver, of 25 North Tolsta, and the couple settled, first at Strathpeffer and later at Knockfarrel, Tong. They had one daughter.
Willie was widowed in 2006.
