Malcolm Gunn (died 2017) lived at 76 New Street, Cross, but it is not certain he was born there.
Malcolm, a widower, married, secondly, a woman from Tolsta, and the couple settled at Cragro, which his wife had inherited from her mother, Isabella Maciver, in 1981.
The couple sold Cragro and settled at 55 North Tolsta which they had obtained from Donald Campbell and built a new house there.
The couple had no children but he had two sons and two daughters from his first marriage.
