Donald MacIntyre, born 1765, married Ann MacLeod, with whom he had at least ten children. Donald was listed as a tenant in the 1813 valuation roll for Ruisgarry. The family moved to North Boisdale, South Uist during the 1820s, later settling at 465 South Lochboisdale.
Donald possibly had a brother Angus.
