115401: John Macrae
John (1785-1864) was a son of John Macrae and Mary Maclennan, Kintail. John was married to Margaret Macrae, Kintail and they had eight children, the two youngest being born at Mealista Farm. John was a shepherd in Harris prior to moving with his family to Mealista when the crofters were cleared from there in 1837.
