Murdo (born 1895) was the son of Jessie Graham; the family lived with his maternal grandparents at 8 Back.
In 1922 Murdo obtained 5 Gress as a newly lotted croft. He married Mary Graham, of 55 Back, and the couple settled at 5 Gress.
