Amelia (born 1851) was a daughter of Angus Maclean and Ann Macrae, Scaliscro Farm. She may have been born after the family relocated to Gisla that year. She married Norman Thomson, 3 Laxdale Lane and they lived at Gisla Farm for a time after their marriage.

Amelia and Norman had eight children, the four older were born at Gisla Farm and the four younger were born after the family relocated to 6 Newvalley. The family all appear there in the 1901 Census.
