Finlay Mackay (1865-1951) was the son of Duncan Mackay and Isabella Mackay, 2 Habost. The family moved in the 1860s to 11 Kershader.
In Lochs, in 1892, he married Anne Macleod, 5 Kershader. Finlay and Anne settled at 11 Kershader and they had eight children only six of whom survived
Finlay was widowed in 1937.
