Catherine (1826-1909) was a daughter of Angus Mackinnon and Catherine Morrison, 15 Mealista. In 1837, when Mealista was cleared, she moved with her family to 18 Old Brenish and in 1849 to 28 Brenish.
In 1850, Catherine married Angus Buchanan, 6 Brenish and they settled at 26 Brenish.
