Donald Macleod

Donald Macleod

Donald (1888-1915) was a son of Donald Macleod and Margaret Montgomery, 2 Habost.

He served with the 5th Cameron Highlanders, S/N 12555, in the First World War. He lost his life in action at the Battle of Loos on 25th September 1915, aged 27.

Donald's name is commemorated on the Loos Memorial, Pairc War Memorial and the Lewis Memorial, Stornoway.
