Donald Paterson
Donald, born 1832, was the son of Norman Paterson and Ann MacLeod of Borve. Their home was probably at the site now known as Tobhta Thormoid ‘ic Shomhairle. In 1854, with the clearance of the crofts for Borve Farm, the family was moved to Meavaig South. Later they settled at 18 Strond. Donald married Ann Gillies of 7 Strond.
