117200: Catherine MacAskill

Catherine, whose maiden name is unknown, was born about 1805. She married Malcom MacAskill of Borve, with whom she was to have at least seven children. By 1854, when Borve crofts had been cleared for Borve Farm, the family was living as cottars. A year later they emigrated to Australia on the Royal Albert.
