117244: Donald MacLeod
Donald, born about 1785, was the son of John MacLeod. Donald married twice, firstly to Catherine MacDonald, with whom he had three children, and secondly to Catherine MacAskill, with whom he had six children. Donald was a tenant in Borve, shown paying annual rent of £5.10s in 1818. The family moved to South Uist during the 1820s, emigrating to Framboise, Cape Breton about 1830.
