117316: Margaret Morrison

Margaret, born 1808, was the daughter of Archibald Morrison and Mary MacAskill of Pol an Òir. The family lived at a site later known as Tobhta Ghilleasbuig Ghobha. Margaret married Angus Ferguson of Harris. They both emigrated to Loch Lomond, Cape Breton about 1828, at a similar time to her brother Donald. It is unclear whether Margaret and Angus married before or after their arrival in Cape Breton. Their son Donald was born in 1829.
