Katie Ann (1928-2017) was a daughter of Kenneth Macleod and Christina Mackenzie, 2 Reef. Katie Ann married Gordon Stirling from Kirkintilloch, where they settled. Katie Ann and Gordon had a son and daughter.

Katie Ann was a good singer, with a great interest in choirs; she regularly attended the National Mòd.

After Gordon’s death, Katie Ann came to live at 2 Reef. In 2011, due to her failing health, she returned to Kirkintilloch to live with her daughter.
