Hector Macleod Ross

Hector Macleod Ross (1836-1896), son of Allan Ross and Annabella Macleod, Parish Schoolhouse, Keose was a merchant in Stornoway with premises at 48 Cromwell Street. He was also the Inspector of the Poor for Lochs and then Stornoway. They resided at 24 Newton Street, Stornoway.

He taught in the school in Crossbost, Lochs during the absence of his father Allan Ross.
