Angus John Mackay (1908-1965) was a son of Angus Mackay and Christina Macleod, 3 Habost.
He served with the Royal Corps of Signals during the Second World War and is mentioned in Roll of Honour: Pairc, Second World War.
He emigrated to Australia in 1950 and was joined a year later by Johanna Maclennan, 5 Shieldenish. They married in 1951 and they had two sons. The family returned to Scotland and settled at 44 Balallan.
