Donald Montgomery (1837-1913) was a son of Norman Montgomery and Margaret Matheson, 23 Old Gravir. In 1842 the family moved to 17 Old Leurbost and in the 1853 lotting obtained 30 Leurbost.
In Lochs, in 1873, he married Mary Smith, 27 Leurbost. Donald and Mary settled at 30 Leurbost and they had eleven children.
