119517: Jessie Helen Macrae

Jessie (born 1923) was a daughter of William Macrae and his second wife Mary Mackay, Miavaig Farm and House, later 35 Cliff. She married Iain Cameron from Kinlochewe. They had two sons. 

Due to her husband’s employment as a policeman they moved around quite a bit, including a spell in Tarbert, Harris and finally settled in Inverness. After settling there, she was Matron of Hilton Hospital.

Jessie was a Gaelic enthusiast, very involved in An Comann Gaidhealach and National Mods and a well known amateur actress.
