120874: Donald John Macaulay
Donald John (1931-2021) was a son of John Macaulay and Mary Macleod, 8 Islivig. He grew up in a busy household there, where his parents had a local shop and the bus service from the upper end of Uig to Stornoway. He married Cathetta Maclennan, 4 Aird and they lived for a time in Stornoway before moving to Inverness, where they settled. They had one daughter.
Donald John had a variety of jobs before becoming head telephonist at Craig Phadraig Hospital.
