120894: Neil Macritchie

Neil (1940-2021) was a son of Norman Macritchie and Christina Macleod, 4 Carishader. Neil attended Lochcroistean and Valtos Schools and then went on to Lewis Castle College. After leaving there, he went to work for Dan Buchanan, Valtos, as a driver and following that he was based at Carnish Quarry, working first for Norman Macaulay for many years and latterly for the Maciver Brothers.

Neil assumed tenancy of 5 Enaclete and later moved there. Neil was unmarried. Due to his deteriorating health Neil had to leave his own home to be cared for by his sister at Achmore and latterly in Bethesda Hospice.
