120913: Jean Hunter MacKay

Jean was from Airdrie. Her father, Angus MacKay,  had Carloway connections and her mother was from Glasgow. Her father served in the police for many years before becoming a publican in Airdrie. Jean married Dr Peter Matheson, Stornoway and they lived at Miavaig when her husband was general practitioner for Uig. They later lived at 15 Valtos. They had one daughter.
