John MacLeod
John (1871-1950) was a son of Alexander MacLeod and Janet MacAulay of 27 South Shawbost.
In 1900, in Shawbost, John married Christina MacLeod of 32 North Shawbost. The couple settled at 27 South Shawbost; John inherited the croft. They had five children: Alexander (1903-1961), Angus (1905-1969), Jessie (1907-1966), Annabella (1910-1995) and Bell Ann (1913-1985).
