He married Ann Mackenzie from 14 Brue. Malcolm and Ann settled at 16/17 Brue and they had four children.
Malcolm was widowed and at Barvas, in 1840, he married Catherine Macaulay, 13 Old Gravir. Malcolm and Catherine lived at 16/17 Brue and they had four children.
