121488: Christina Mackay
Christina (born 1897) was a daughter of Malcolm Mackay and Mary Mackinnon, Isle of Scarp. In 1932, in Tarbert, Christina married James Maclennan and they lived on the Isle of Scarp and later moved to Cravadale on the Harris mainland.
They had five children. There were twins: Mary Peggy was born 13.1.1934 on Scarp. Complications set in and Christina had to make the hazardous journey by small boat from Scarp and then the long road journey to Stornoway. Christina Jessie was born 15.1.1934 in the Lewis Hospital.
