John Macrae
John Macrae (1874-1951) was a son of Donald Macrae and Isabella Macleod, 8 Habost.
In Stornoway, in 1910, he married Colina Maciver, 11 Laxay. John and Colina were Cottars at 10 Laxay.
John served as a Sergeant in the Seaforth Highlanders in the First World War and is mentioned in Loyal Lewis: Roll of Honour 1914-1918.
