It is thought that Kenneth Mackenzie and his family moved from Stiemreway to Keose in the 1810s.
He married Ann Macleod, daughter of Malcolm Macleod and Betsy Unknown from Keose. Ann and Kenneth settled at 2 Keose and they had eight children.
Ann is listed as a widow in the 1841 and 1851 Census.
