Christina MacLeod, born in 1861, was the daughter of John MacLeod and Marion Ferguson of 1/2 Ruisgarry (Sandhill). In 1891 she was housekeeper to her brother Kenneth.
She married Roderick Smith of 6 Keose in 1894. They lived in Tarbert and ran a shop and post office.
