15099: Kenneth Donald Macleod

Kenneth Donald Macleod (born 1915)  was a son of John Macleod and Christina Macleod, 1 Calbost.

He enrolled in the Royal Naval Reserve, Service Number AX19424, on May 26, 1937. His record shows that he was 5ft 9½ in tall with light brown hair, brown eyes and a fresh complexion. Kenneth Donald joined the Merchant Navy and travelled to Key West, Hong Kong, North Pacific and Australia on the SS Karamea and  the River Plate on the SS Highland Brigade. 

He was Mobilised on October 23, 1939 and served with the Royal Navy during the Second World War  based at HMS Cochrane II and HMS Hannibal. His name is mentioned in  Roll of Honour: Pairc, Second World War.

Kenneth Donald  later emigrated to Australia.
