Duncan Macleod

Duncan Macleod (born 1917) was a son of John Macleod and Christina Macleod, 1 Calbost .

He enrolled with the Royal Naval Reserve on February 12, 1937. From 1937-1938 he worked on Stornoway registered  fishing boats  The True Love, the Excel and Starlight Rays. Duncan was Mobilised on December 29, 1938 and was declared Physically Unfit for Naval Service (PUNS) in March 1939.

During the Second World War Duncan served with the Merchant Navy.

Duncan later emigrated to New Zealand.
