Alasdair Iain Mhurchaidh Mhurchaidh
Alexander John (1922-2006) was the son of Murdo Mackenzie and Katie Ann Smith, 69 Keith Street, Stornoway.
His father died in 1929 and the family moved to his mother's croft at 6/7 Gravir.
The family returned to Stornoway in 1945.
At Inverness, in 1954, he married Williamina Macleod of 56 Leurbost and they lived in Stornoway. Williamina inherited the house and 21 Ranish and the family settled there. John and Williamina had three children.
Alexander John inherited the croft at 6/7 Gravir.
