15455: Ann Macdonald

Ann (born 1848) was the daughter of Angus Macdonald and Catherine Maclennan of 14b Old Coll

In 1851, during the croft relottings, her family obtained 16 Coll.

Her grandmother, Catherine Macritchie, died in 1874 and 44 Coll passed into her family, but it is not clear if any of the family settled there at that time.

In 1877 her parents left 16 Coll for 36 Back.

She married widower John Mackenzie, of Keith Street, and gained seven step children. They settled at 44 Coll and had four children. In due course 44 Coll passed to her son, Alexander.
