16405: John Macritchie
John Macritchie (1884-1963) was a son of Donald Macritchie and Margaret Matheson, 3b Aird Uig.
He emigrated to the United States in 1911 and in Winnipeg, Manitoba, in 1915 he married Margaret Macleod formerly of 1 Crulivig. John and Margaret settled in Winnipeg and they had two children.
The family returned to Scotland on the SS Duchess of Bedford landing at Greenock on June 22, 1934. They settled at 5 Garrynahine.
John and his wife are both interred at Bosta.
