Alasdair Murchadh Mhurchaidh Aonghais

Alexander Murdo Mackenzie (1881-1962) was a son of Murdo Mackenzie and Annabella Macleod, 9 Keose.

He went with his family to Patagonia in 1907. He worked on various sheep farms until he moved to the Estancia las Vegas, Rio Coyle, Argentina in c1925. This farm was owned by a Morrison from Ness and his French partner, Abonie. In 1933 the farm was sold to the Sociedad Garadera Explotara. Alick and his family returned to Lewis in the 1930s and lived at 23 Assaye Place, Stornoway.

He married Jane Macleod, Stornoway, formerly of 13 Lemreway and 35 Gravir. The couple settled in Stornoway.
